A New Type of High-performance CT Scanner Only Takes 40 Seconds for a Whole Body CT Scan

High-performance computed tomography (CT) can scan an entire human body in just 40 seconds and is able to show anything that is problematic. Its summary scanning with wide application scope which includes fast and complete examination of accident victims; detection of tumor metastasis and arthritis and even could be used in the anatomy of the virtual body. And all of these could be easier emotionally accepted by the bereaved.  

 

This new development is generating excitement and opening up a new diagnostic possibility, but specialists warn that this method should not be abused. 10 years ago, it would take patients hours for a complete CT scanning or a nuclear magnetic resonance. At that time, the scanning time is very long, and at the same the patients would be exposed in high radiation when they under a physical examination.
