1.Come into“6S”
In March2019, after the company's leaders put forward the requirements for thecomprehensive implementation of "6S" management, the QC department immediatelyestablished 6S management working team, and held the start meeting in earlyApril. Till now, "6S" management work has been carried out step bystep in company headquarter.
What is “6S”？
¨ It originatedfrom "5S" management of Japanese enterprises in 1955.
¨ 5S includes"SEIRI, SEITION, SEISO, SEIKETSU, SHITSUKE".The first letter of everyJapanese word is "S", so it is called "5S".
¨ After theintroduction of the 5S theory in China, Haier and other companies improved andadded the word "SAFETY", which was merged with the previous 5S tobecome "6S".
¨ Therelationships among the six S's are interrelated.
2.Why“6S”?
From theworking team, "6S" implementation could improve the workingenvironment; from the management, it could improve staff attainment and tampthe company basis.
3.How to implement“6S”?
"6S"implementation is to carry out the work in a planned and step way.
1S SEIRI：Separate "need" items from"don't need" items, and eliminate all "may need" items
2S SEITION：After the first step, put "need"items scientifically and reasonably.
3S SEISO: Establisha clean and suitable working environment by cleaning up.
4S SEIKETSU：Make good maintenance to keep the beststatus.
5S SHITSUKE：Train employees to be normative andconsistent so as to improve the overall quality of the team.
6S Safety： Eliminate the hidden danger of safety, andensure the safety of prevention
4.Put“6S”in the enterprise
From theimplementation stage, 6S can be divided into three stages:
Stage 1: Theoverall look and feel is neat, orderly and well maintained.
Stage 2: Refineprocess control and standardize operational points.
Stage 3: Developa good working atmosphere.
According tothe activity level, 6S can be divided into three levels:
Level1:Action.
Level 2:Habituation.
Level3:Precaution
At present,the company's 6S implementation is still in the stage of formalization andaction. Therefore, the promotion of 6S still has a long way to go, and requiresthe joint efforts and persistence of everyone to make 6S from formalization tohabituation.
